Welcome to your moderator central support system. The Moderator Workshop Series is a leadership development and skills support series. This year-long programme offers continuous learning, coaching and tools, supporting moderators to lead their Forum, learn and grow in real time!

 

The Moderator Workshop Series combines the best of the best of our moderator knowledge and weaves together virtual experiential learning and connections to upskill moderators, Forum Chairs and Forum Experts.

 

Patty Campagna and Simon Timms will guide you through a full year journey, anchored by quarterly 1.5-hour interactive workshops with theory, practical applications, tools, breakout groups, and Q&A sessions.

 

 

The programme includes:

Virtual Workshops

 

1. Forum by Design (August 20^th, 2024): Lets walk through the annual planning cycle, identifying your Forum’s opportunity to thrive this year
2. 5% Reflections and Parking Lot (October 15^th, 2024): Vulnerable, prepared, effective, the pivot point of a Forum meeting
3. Deep Dives and Alternative Presentation Methods (January 21^th, 2025):  We will practice effective coaching and mindset for Deep Dive presentations, and how to select the right tool for the right topics. 
4. Moderator transition (May 20^th, 2025): Connection, reflection and effective handoff as we shift roles each year in Forum.

 

 

Office Hours

 

1. One hour calls scheduled during the months without a workshop to give moderators direct support from Forum facilitators.
2. Your opportunity to ask your Forum Facilitators anything and to share and connect with moderators throughout the region.
